Public Cloud Release Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Brussels Country: Belgium

About the role:
As a Release Engineer you will continuously evaluate and enhance the release processes, tools, scripts and infrastructure used in the payments and messaging product development teams, act as an ambassador of continuous integration & continuous deployment, and support the development and delivery teams with the implementation and maintenance of these practices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, enhance, support and promote Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices throughout the Payment Hub organization.
- Maintain, and continuously review and improve the build, test and deployment tools and processes.
- Utilize industry standard tools to build metrics and monitor trends on build timings, test coverage, code quality and performance.
- Support the project teams in setting up and maintaining development and test environments.
- Support the rollout and adoption of CI practices in remote project and development teams (Europe, India and US).
Ideal candidates recognizes themselves in this profile:
- Hands-on mentality. Willing to learn. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline, or the equivalent by experience.
- 3 years in (Java) software development and/or relevant experience in cloud/K8s infrastructure configuration.
- Familiar with continuous integration/deployment processes and tools Public Cloud (eg, GitHub, Maven, SonarQube, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm,
- Harness, etc.).
- Enthusiastic, good communication skills.
- Willing to work and grow in an Agile team.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
