Process Automation Expert (Contract)
Location: France
Automation Expert with Pharma company - 12 months contract - Remote and On site
My client is a leading provider in the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in the production and development of vaccines. They are looking for an Automation Specialist/Expert to work on a contract basis. The successful candidate will deliver expertise in automation systems, particularly Siemens WinCC, Siemens Automate, and/or Emerson Delta V, to support manufacturers of vaccine production machines in their automation development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Expertise: Provide technical expertise in Siemens WinCC, Siemens PLC (TIA Portal), and/or Emerson Delta V batch systems.
- Support Manufacturers: Assist vaccine production machine manufacturers in the development and optimisation of their automation systems.
- Facilitate Clarifications: Serve as a point of contact for automation integrators, providing clarifications and guidance on level 2 functional analyses (organic analysis).
- Integration Participation: Participate in automation integrator's mock-ups and factory acceptance tests (FAT), start-up procedures, site acceptance tests (SAT), and integration of PCs and PLCs into Sanofi's IT systems delivered by the machine manufacturer.
- System Interfaces: Ensure seamless interfaces between automation systems using OPC UA, fieldbus, and SQL.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular reports on project progress and issues.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Siemens WinCC, Siemens PLC (TIA Portal), and/or Emerson Delta V batch systems.
- Proficiency in interfaces between automation systems using OPC UA, fieldbus, and SQL.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Proven track record of working with automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
