Permanent: £45,000 - £65,000 (dependant on experience)

A Financial Services business based in Gloucestershire are looking for a Senior or mid-level Matillion Support Engineer to join the high-performing Technology Operations team, playing a key role in supporting and enhancing the enterprise data platform.

About the Role

As Matillion Support Engineer, you'll ensure the cloud data platform delivers a reliable, secure and high-performing service to the business. You will:

• Provide expert-level support for Matillion and wider data platform technologies.
• Manage and resolve incidents efficiently to minimise disruption.
• Proactively monitor platform performance and deliver enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, access controls, recoverability standards, and governance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and drive process optimisation.
• Stay ahead of advancements in the data engineering space, sharing knowledge across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert for Matillion within Technology Operations.
• Lead platform support activities and help maintain a resilient, scalable data environment.
• Troubleshoot complex data integration, transformation and workflow issues.
• Contribute to platform feature design and supportability.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases and best practice guides.
• Support strategic initiatives and understand how data platforms shape long-term business outcomes.
