Project Manager - EU MDR Technology Compliance - Contract/Freelance - Remote (Contract)

Location: 100% remote from Europe  Country: UK Rate: Market Rate
 

Project Manager - EU MDR Technology Compliance - Contract/Freelance - Remote

Robson Bale are looking for an EU MDR Project Manager to come on board for an initial 6 month fully remote contract.

Candidates can be fully remote from anywhere in Europe but if in the UK, this role will be inside IR35

6 month, local market rate based on location.

Candidates will only be considered with EU MDR experience

European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) Overview:

The European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) enforces stringent standards for medical devices in the EU, emphasizing the importance of safety, effectiveness, and data security. This regulation necessitates advanced technological solutions to meet compliance requirements, particularly in data management, device tracking, and reporting systems.

Purpose of the Position:

The Project Manager will lead the technological aspects of projects aimed at achieving EU MDR compliance. This role involves managing the development and implementation of technology solutions that ensure compliance with EU MDR standards, coordinating technology teams and aligning IT projects with regulatory requirements and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Project Management, EU MDR Compliance, and Budget Oversight
    - Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions that support EU MDR compliance, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget constraints, and within regulatory standards.
    - Develop detailed project plans that include technology strategies, systems architecture, data security measures, and compliance checkpoints, with a clear focus on optimizing resource allocation and budget management.
    - Liaise with IT specialists, software developers, and system architects to integrate EUDR compliance into all technology-related project deliverables, while adhering to approved budgets.
  1. Stakeholder and Technical Team Engagement
    - Manage communications between technology teams and regulatory experts to ensure that all tech developments align with EU MDR requirements.
    - Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss technology deployment strategies, addressing any compliance issues and financial considerations.
    - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative solutions to compliance challenges within budgetary limits.

3. Resource and Budget Management in Technology Settings
- Assess and allocate technology resources and personnel effectively, ensuring that teams have the necessary tools and expertise to meet EU MDR standards while monitoring and controlling project expenditures.
- Oversee the training of project teams on the technical aspects of EU MDR compliance, including data integrity, cybersecurity, and device tracking systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

4. Continuous Technological Improvement & Compliance Monitoring
- Monitor the effectiveness of technology solutions in meeting compliance standards and managing costs, making adjustments as regulatory changes occur or budget adjustments are needed.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and regulatory updates in EU MDR, integrating new technologies to enhance compliance efficiency and cost management.

6 month, local market rate based on location.
