Server Engineer - £380/day Inside IR35 - 3-month Contract - London (Hybrid) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a skilled Server Engineer with expertise in Windows Server environments, specifically Windows 2016 and 2022, and a focus on infrastructure management. This role will primarily involve fixing, patching, and general BAU (Business as Usual) tasks related to our Windows server estate.

Your responsibilities as the suitable Server Engineer:

• Perform server maintenance, including fixing and patching Windows Server 2016 and 2022 systems.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Windows server infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly.
• Ensure server security and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

As the right Server Engineer, you will have:

• Proven experience in managing Windows Server environments, including Windows 2016 and 2022.
• Strong technical skills in server administration, troubleshooting, and patch management.
• Knowledge of server hardware and software components.
• Familiarity with server virtualization technologies (eg, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with automation tools (eg, PowerShell) for server management tasks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (eg, Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud environments.
