Contract SQL DBA (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £500 - £600 per day
 

Contract SQL DBA - InsurTech - SQL, Aurora, AWS, Terraform

We're currently working with an industry leading InsurTech company who are ramping up their Platform at a speed of knots to scale in line with their continued growth worldwide.

Their current focus from a hiring perspective is sourcing a strong, established, contract SQL DBA to help them on their journey to improve performance and optimisation across their estate. The incoming DBA will have complete autonomy in the role to shape and scale their processes, whilst working to improve these across the broader team.

To be considered, the following experience is required:

  • At least 5-6 years' experience as a DBA
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Databases
  • Prior experience Performance Tuning Databases
  • Able to spec, size, deploy and test clusters of SQL Databases
  • Capable working with Developers to drive best practices and improve SQL Database development processes

This position is able to offer £500-600 p/day, outside IR35, for an initial 3 month period, and operates a hybrid model (2-3 days p/week).
