About the job

As a Business Analyst, you will work to facilitate collaboration between different teams, translating technical capabilities into business strategies and vice versa. This ensures that technological solutions developed by one team align with the needs and objectives of other teams, fostering a cohesive and efficient working environment that drives innovation and productivity

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be part of the Trading Technology Team who are responsible for the analysis of business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will do

  • Communication to Technical and Non-Technical Persons: Effectively bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and understandable communication across diverse groups.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail, critical in identifying specific requirements, potential issues, and subtle nuances in both business processes and technical implementations.
  • Understanding of API Ecosystem: Have a solid grasp of API ecosystems, enabling the understanding of how various systems and services can be integrated and leveraged for optimal business solutions.
  • Understanding of Software Development Cycle: Possess a fundamental understanding of the software development cycle, which aids in effective communication with development teams and in aligning technical solutions with business needs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Skilled in eliciting requirements from stakeholders, ensuring that all necessary information is collected for successful project outcomes.

Who you are

  • Jira Proficiency: Experienced in using Jira for project management, tracking, and collaboration, enabling efficient workflow and issue resolution.
  • Microsoft Applications Expertise: Skilled in various Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, facilitating effective data analysis, documentation, and presentation.
  • API Knowledge: Solid understanding of API integration and management, contributing to seamless system interactions and data exchange.
  • 3 Years of BA Experience: Three years of hands-on experience in business analysis, demonstrating a track record of successful project execution and stakeholder management.
  • BA Certification (Advantageous): Possession of a Business Analyst certification, indicative of formal training and adherence to industry standards.
  • Previous experience in gambling/gaming sector would be an advantage
