We are heading up a recruitment drive on behalf of a leading IT consultancy that require a Project Manager Data Sourcing/Integration to join their team on a major project that is based in Edinburgh.

Project/Workstream Overview: Short description, objectives and benefits, and stage of project, key Risks and Issues

Manage the Data Sourcing & Integration workstream on the Distribution Modernisation (DM) programme. This involves taking data from master source systems, transforming the data and loading this into the new D365 CRM platform. This is inflight delivery that is critical to the DM programme realising its benefits. DM is the first programme to load data into D365 platform.

Role Scope

PM required to manage delivery of:

• Complete capture of the Data transformation requirements
• Azure layer Infrastructure build & test
• Connect data sources to D365 platform (Oryx, Alis, NBIS, FCA, Golden Record, Alteryx).
• Coordinate e2e integrations and dependencies
• Manage Cognizant delivery of Data PBIs
• Manage delivery of test environments & infrastructure testing (incl. APIs).
• Ensure e2e alignment of data into D365/handshake with Cognizant build team/CRM/D365 Workstream .

Essential capability expectations & skills to fill role(eg expert MSP knowledge)

• Able to manage MSP plan.
• Strong stakeholder management & business coordination skills.
• Data Migration experience (Extract Transform Load), understanding the artefacts required, importance of data transformation requirements & best practice.
• Able to pick-up in-flight delivery and quickly understand the delivery challenges, taking a pragmatic approach with ability to focus on the critical delivery items to complete programme ASAP.
• Manged data projects from start to finish.
• Able to drive change in complex delivery environment and manage 3rd parties/hold 3rd parties to account.
• Good communication and collaborations skills.
• Effective chair - can manage workstream PWG.
• Can support both Agile & Waterfall delivery.
• Agile experience - understands spring planning, tech. user story creation, story point estimation and release planning, etc.

Preferred skills/experience (eg finance, pensions projects)

• Ideally Experience of doing multiple data migrations/data projects in lots of organisations
• D365/CRM experience
• Able to support existing team and coach them to get the best out of the team.
• Data cleanse experience
