We're looking for a full stack developer to join our client's team to work as a lead on a pioneering solution leveraged by the insurance sector. The role is for a well known household name. You'll be working on a small team developing new features, using angular alongside typescript (nodeJS plus nestJS/expressJS etc).

This is a full remote working job (UK based candidates only, no out of country working). This opportunity sits within IR35.

Essential technical skills for the role:-

• Proficient Angular developer
• Proficient with NodeJS alongside NestJS or equivalents like ExpressJS
• Track record of developing full stack applications
• Comfortable with API development
• A strong background in OO development, ( Java/C#/Python)
• Comfortable with SQL and NoSQL (they re using postgres and mongo respectively - experience with alternative databases welcomed)
• Practical experience of working across the SDLC, with a focus on quality
• Demonstrated leader (technical and people)

You will also be happy working in a microservices/CI/CD and DevOps setting, as well as experienced with deployments to cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP). Key to this firm is a strong team culture. This role is open to all UK based residents, with the right to work in the UK. The role is home based.
