Configuration engine/engineer contract role - 100% REMOTE - PART TIME! (Contract)
Location: Remote Country: UK Rate: Market
We are looking for a configuration engineer consultant to assist with an ongoing project that is fully remote.
The proposed resource should have:
- Degree on IT science, or software engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience in engine configuration (possibly in the role of solution designer)
- Of these at least 2 years using Config IT tool Configit - Configuration technology for leading manufacturing companies
- 1 year experience in web development project
- Knowledge of API administration
Scope of the project
- Modelling new calculators in the mentioned tool (the tool frame is already developed)
- Help the internal team growing in experience and knowledge
- Starting from SDD document, build the technical solution in the mentioned tool, completing the design and develop the solution
- Develop the calculation models in ConfigIT solution
- Help Rockwool to assess the quality and reusability of the solutions we are delivering.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months.
Utilisation: 3 days per week- 8 hours per day
