The team also looks after the applying and reporting of the promotions that are displayed during searches. We are currently working on building functionality for our external suppliers to be able to create and edit their own promotions as well as provide tooling for our internal customer service teams to create promotions to be given to customers.
The team works using CI/CD following the Kanban methodology.
Each application has a full set of automated tests covering the test pyramid to ensure reliable releasing into production. The team often pair programme during implementation.
The applications are hosted in AWS using a mixture of microservices and kubernetes, handling a high volume of requests. The Front End is a micro Front End.
