A fast-growing Software Testing Consultancy who provide cutting-edge automation solutions to a variety of UK wide clients are looking for a Test Automation Lead due to new client wins and enhancements of their products.
The Test Automation Lead is a technical and leadership focused opportunity with responsibility of all automation activities, strategy, proof of concept, framework creation and implementations.
Test Automation Lead other responsibilities include:
- Providing visionary leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
- Defining and guiding automation best practices, methodologies, and processes.
- Designing, building, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks.
- Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and trends in automation and AI.
- Building partnerships with tool providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Leading on all automation and product development-related activities
Test Automation Lead Key Skills and Experience:
- Excellent ability in leading automation experts, QA engineers, and developers.
- Proficiency in building automation test strategies and product roadmaps with a range of automation technologies covering Unit, API, UI level automation, including but not limited to - Selenium, Specflow, Serenity BDD/Specflow, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Rest Assured, Jmeter, BrowserStack, Saucelabs
- Experience of coding with Java and .NET environments
- Experience of codeless automation tools
- Experience with CI/CD environments and cloud-based implementations such as AWS and Azure
- A visionary leader with innovative thinking and adaptability
- An understanding of the potential of AI within QA
