Integration Test Lead (Contract)
Location: Hampshire Country: UK Rate: Outside IR35

Background and Experience

We are looking for an Integration Test Lead to join one of our client teams:

  • Working across multiple delivery teams to plan the end-to-end test strategy, put in place the core test framework and review individual test plans
  • Responsible for overall integration test plan design and processes, applying, articulating and constructing business specific end to end scenarios, defining standards for the development of test scripts, deployment and reuse
  • Work with business analysts to agree acceptance criteria for testing complex data processing and analytic requirements
  • Assuring system integration functional testing is undertaken following industry best practises
  • Experience of working to tight and challenging timescales
  • Strong experience of working with both Waterfall and Risk Based testing techniques
  • Taking a proactive approach to understanding risks as well as optimising and improving the quality of the products
  • Lead and organise investigative and diagnostic work collaborating with developers and delivery leads
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risk through a practical, and iterative testing approach, enabling the implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions for complex issues
  • Co-ordinating expert insight from the central functional, technical, and non-functional test managers to resolve issues
  • Comfortable with creating test strategies, test plans and reports but also testing where required when against tight deadlines
  • Experience of liaising with 3rd parties with regards to supplier testing and assurance
  • Experience of large-scale M365, Citrix, endpoint, resilience, secure operating environments for government, national infrastructure, defence or similar
