Senior Magento Developer (Permanent)

Location: Stockport, Cheshire Country: UK
 

This role is for a Senior Developer, preferably with Magento 2 knowledge and experience of working in the E-commerce sector. The Senior Developer will be an instrumental figure in the next growth phase of the company, allowing them to expand into Europe.

Description

Your duties will include:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the E-commerce platform based on Magento 2.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality for our platform, as well as maintaining and improving existing features.
  • Optimise the performance of the platform to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Work closely with other members of the development team to ensure that all code is consistent, efficient and maintainable.
  • Write clean and well-documented code that is easily scalable.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise on the platform, working closely with other members of the team to ensure timely resolution.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience as a Magento 2 Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful E-commerce projects.
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations, payment gateways, and shipping modules.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
