Data Analyst

About the role
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing effective data analysis, insights and reporting capability. This will include cleansing and merging disparate data sets, Datamodelling, insights, solutions, and visualisation to address key business challenges.

Shifts:
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)The must-haves:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VBA beneficial).
  • Advanced SQL skills include merging, managing, interrogating and extracting data.
  • Expertise with BI tools such as Power BI, with proven capability for building intuitive insights and self-service capability.
  • Working with big datasets- transforming and manipulating data, data flows and automating procedures.
  • Experience developing and reporting on analysis and key metrics, presenting information effectively and clearly to stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data management best practices, including demonstrated experience with data profiling, sourcing and cleansing routines.

Key responsibilities

  • Data sourcing, flows, validation, cleansing and insights. Integration into Fibre Upgrades Single Source of Truth.
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions to answer key business challenges.
  • Develop data visualisation/self-serve capability using interactive dashboards, reports, Aps and best practice BI design (Power BI)

  • A day rate, in-scope IR35, £482.00 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company) or £378.23 PAYE.
  • This role provides hybrid working access from the comforts of your own home and only going to our state-of-the-art office in Reading.
