Test Analyst with previous experience with API testing and SQL Queries is required by Logic Engagements to work for our well established client based just outside of Reading (hybrid working - three days a week in the office)

The scope of the role will be to:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business analysts, to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
• Perform manual, functional and non-functional testing.
• Identify, document and track defects using issue tracking tools, eg Jira and X-Ray.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress to the Test Manager and stakeholders.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process, including the implementation of best practicesand automation strategies.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:

• 3+ years experience working as a Test Analyst/QA Analyst
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing
• Previous experience in using API testing tools
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques and tools
• Experience in designing and executing test cases
• Experience with Test Management tools, such as Jira, Zephyr, X-ray and Bugzilla
• Good knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web, web services, Client Server and databases.
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work in the office 3 days a week (near Reading)
