Job Title: Lead Solutions Architect

Contract: 6 months

Location: London

Rate: £480 per day (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Solutions Architect for a 6-month contract with our client in the broadcasting space. The Origination team is responsible for the technical solutions required for the playout of linear channels and the ongoing development of services into software-based solutions. This role ensures that technical solutions align with business objectives, adhere to best practices, and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align proposed and existing system architectures with organisational goals and objectives.
• Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to software development and video engineering teams.
• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems where applicable.
• Collaborate with platform owners, project managers, and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies to support system development efforts, recommending cost-effective and flexible technologies.
• Serve as the design authority, overseeing the architectural design of assigned feature developments.
• Act as a quality leader, ensuring the highest possible quality in assigned technical features.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in broadcast technology or a related field.
• Extensive practical experience in the delivery of broadcast projects.
• Demonstrable experience with public cloud technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
• Proven experience as the technical point of contact for the design, development, and implementation of broadcast solutions, systems, or products.
