Location: Remote (1-2 days per month in Leek Wootton)

How about sitting watching the news on a evening and statistics being announced that is positively impacting the UK and you was a part of that data cleanse and application building cycle?
We are looking for a Power Apps Developer who is wanting to make a difference to the police forces across a region of the UK to assist with continuously clean and develop data and be apart of building bespoke applications within a team of 7 developers split between 2 (PowerApps and RPA)
Although coding comes from your nature with utilising languages such as .NET, C# and ASP, you will need to have a consultative approach and take responsibility for understanding strategic business requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and recommending options.
This opportunity does require a eligibility to go through a NPPV3 clearance which will go through vetting process once selected.

For this role the essential skills would look like:-

* Must be proficient in programming languages and able to translate functionality into "source code" for the creation of computer programs eg Microsoft .Net, ASP, C#, and other languages VB, C++.
* Must have knowledge and skills in software development methodologies and development of applications, eg Lean, Agile, Objectory/UML
* Proficient in one or more application development software tools and languages, eg DevOps, XML, XSLT, Business Objects, Web Services, Microsoft Visual Studio.
* Proficient in database software egSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
* Demonstrate experience of translating user requirements into ICT service designs.
* Familiar with business analysis techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation eg functional business models, statistical process control, relational Datamodelling.
