Technical Data Analyst (Contract)

Location: London/Remote (95%) Country: UK Rate: £325-£350/d
 

Your experience as a self-motivated Technical Data Analyst is required to join one of the UK's most recognisable brands. Your role will primarily be to support teams in performing analyses of large datasets. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence in London twice a month. You will need to have strong coding abilities and experience in data analysis, with proficiency in R and Python, as well as familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS.

Your day to day responsibilities will include; conducting detailed data analyses Perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail, utilising statistical methods to calculate standard deviations, standard percentages, and other relevant metrics. Top do so you will need experience cleansing and preprocessing large datasets, identifying and addressing data quality issues.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience coding in R (MUST HAVE!).
  • Competence in Python.
  • Experience with statistical software such as SPSS.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques and metrics.
  • Ability to handle and cleanse large datasets effectively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Nice to Have:

  • Numerical Degree
