Automation Developer (Contract)
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Country: UK
OUTSIDE IR35 - MOSTLY REMOTE - 6 months CONTRACT
Our public sector client is looking for an Automation Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.
You will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- OCR and lexical analysis techniques including NLP (spacy) and ML.
- AWS including:
- CDK
- Serverless (Lambda)
- S3
- API Gateway
- Cloud Formation
- Aurora/Postgres
- Python/Typescript
- Stakeholder management
- Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture.
- Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes such as Grafana.
- Agile delivery models - Scrum/Kanban.
- Formal XP engineering techniques.
- Infrastructure as code.
This is a 6-month contract with possibilities of extension. Working predominantly remote but there will be the occasional on-site requirement in our clients Edinburgh or Glasgow office. Competitive day rate outside ir35.
