Applications Operations Engineer/SQL Server DBA- 6 months contract, Rate 420 pd Outside IR35, Hybrid role 3 days on site in Milton Keynes region

Our Government client requires a Applications Operations Engineer/SQL Server DBA for 6 months onsite to work at our client based near Milton Keynes, Bucks commutable from Northampton, East Midlands Bedford, Luton, North London

Due to the nature of the assignment, SC or DV Security Clearance essential or candidates must be willing to undertake clearance.

Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience

Role:

Carry out routine configuration, installation and reconfiguration of database

Build and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions using architect's drawings, diagrams and/or data flows;

Identify and take ownership of technical problems and incidents;

Identify and investigate repeat issues and faults, initiate and monitor actions to investigate patterns and trends, consulting specialists where required;

Develop and document change requests to improve control/reduce risk to security performance and availability;

Create Technical and Functional Documentation

Please note that some occasional on call hours will be required for this role
